1. The Competition

1.1 The “VEEV × ENGEN Win 1 of 7 iPhones” competition (the “Competition”) is run by Philip Morris South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“PMSA”), in partnership with Engen Petroleum Limited (“Engen”), at participating Engen forecourt convenience stores in the Republic of South Africa.

1.2 The Promotion offers Participants:

·       (a) an instant digital reward (a voucher, selected by digital spin-wheel) with every qualifying purchase; and

·       (b) Automatic entry into scheduled random draws for one (1) of seven (7) Apple iPhone 17 Pro devices (available in Deep Blue or Cosmic Orange, subject to availability. Should the selected colour be unavailable, an alternative colour may be provided at the Promoter's discretion) (each, a "Grand Prize").1.3 The Competition is subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and, in respect of the Grand Prize draws, is a promotional competition as contemplated in section 36 of the CPA. A copy of these Terms is available free of charge at all Participating Stores and at veev-vape.com/za/en/legal/competition

2. Who Can Participate

2.1 The Competition is open only to natural persons who, at the date of entry:

·       (a) are 18 years of age or older;

·       (b) are existing users of tobacco and/or nicotine-containing products;

·       (c) are residents of the Republic of South Africa and physically present in RSA at the time of entry; and

·       (d) hold a valid South African ID, passport or driver’s license for age verification on redemption.

2.2 The following persons may not participate: directors, members, partners, employees, contractors or agents of PMSA, Engen, their holding, subsidiary or associated companies, any supplier of goods or services to the Promotion, and the immediate family members of any of the foregoing.

2.3 Entrants who cannot lawfully be marketed to under RSA tobacco/nicotine control legislation, or who are prohibited by their employer or a court order from participating, may not enter.

3. Competition Period

3.1 The Competition runs from 1 August 2026 (00:00 SAST) to 31 October 2026 (23:59 SAST) (“Competition Period”). Entries received outside the Competition Period will be invalid.

3.2 PMSA may shorten, extend, suspend or terminate the Competition for reasons beyond its reasonable control, subject to prior approval of the National Consumer Commission if required.

4. How to Enter (Mechanics)

4.1 During the Competition Period, a Participant must:

·       Step 1 – Purchase: Buy any two (2) or more eligible VEEV products in a single transaction at a Participating Store. Eligible VEEV products are: VEEV NOW ULTRA devices, VEEV ONE Starter Kits, and VEEV ONE 2-pod packs (any combination, no minimum spend). Products received free under other promotional offers do not qualify.

·       Step 2 – Retain your till slip: Keep your Engen till slip as proof of qualifying purchase.

·       Step 3 – Upload proof: Scan the QR code displayed in-store, or follow the link printed on the Engen till slip, and upload a clear image of the till slip within 48 hours of the transaction.

·       Step 4 – Verify age: Complete the age-gate (18+) and nicotine-user declaration on the entry page.

4.2 On successful upload, the Participant will:

·       (a) receive one (1) instant digital reward by spinning a digital wheel (see clause 5); and

·       (b) be automatically entered into the next scheduled draw for a Grand Prize (see clause 6).

4.3 Entry limits:

·       (a) A maximum of three (3) qualifying entries per Participant per calendar week;

·       (b) A maximum of three (3) instant rewards per Participant per calendar week; and

·       (c) A maximum of one (1) Grand Prize per Participant for the entire Competition Period.

4.4 Incomplete, illegible, duplicate, late or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. Automated, bot-generated or bulk-uploaded entries are prohibited. PMSA’s decision on the validity of any entry is final, save that this does not exclude any Participant’s statutory right to complain to the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

4.5 No purchase premium: The price of eligible VEEV products at Participating Stores is the ordinary retail price. No fee or additional consideration (other than the normal cost of the eligible products) is charged to enter.

5. Instant Rewards

5.1 One (1) instant digital reward is guaranteed per valid entry, allocated randomly by digital spin-wheel from the following categories:

·       fashion vouchers;

·       fast-food restaurant vouchers;

·       Accommodation vouchers

·       Pamper experience vouchers; and

·       Fuel vouchers.

5.2 Instant rewards are delivered digitally to the entry mobile number. Each voucher is subject to the terms, expiry date and redemption rules of the applicable third-party issuer, which will be shown before redemption.

5.3 VAT on instant rewards is borne by PMSA. No handling, administration or redemption fee will be charged to the Participant.[KZ1] 

6. Grand Prize Draws (iPhone 17 Pro × 7)

6.1 Seven (7) Grand Prizes will be awarded, one at each of the following scheduled random draws:

6.2 All valid entries received up to 23:59 SAST on the day preceding each draw enter that draw. Entries not selected roll over into subsequent draws within the Competition Period, subject to clause 4.3(c).

6.3 Draws will be conducted by random computerised selection under the supervision of an independent auditor or attorney (“Independent Person”). The Independent Person will certify in writing that each draw was conducted fairly and in accordance with these Terms.

6.4 PMSA will keep the following records for three (3) years from the date of each draw: the Terms, list of prizes awarded and their values, the entry log, the Independent Person’s certificate, and correspondence with winners.

Note: Apple is not a participant in or sponsor of this Competition.

7. Participating Stores

7.1 The Promotion is available only at participating Engen convenience stores in the Republic of South Africa. The list of Participating Stores is available on veev-vape.com/za/en/legal/iphone17promo and updated during the Competition Period. Non-participating Engen sites and other retailers are excluded.

7.2 Where a Participating Store is temporarily unable to fulfil the offer (e.g. stock depletion or technical outage), PMSA will offer the Participant a comparable alternative (for example, a rain-check to a nearby Participating Store, or a substitute VEEV product of equivalent value).

8. Prize Notification, Redemption and Collection

8.1 Notification: Each Grand Prize winner will be contacted within five (5) business days of the applicable draw via the mobile number and/or email used at entry, and their name will be published on veev-vape.com/za.

8.2 Verification: Before release of a Grand Prize, the winner must:

·       (a) produce a valid South African ID, passport or driver’s license confirming they are 18 years of age or older;

·       (b) confirm in writing that they are a user of tobacco and/or nicotine-containing products; and

·       (c) sign the standard Prize Acceptance and Indemnity Form.

8.3 Collection window: A Grand Prize must be claimed and collected within three (3) months of notification, failing which it will be forfeited and may be re-drawn or dealt with as PMSA, in consultation with the Independent Person, considers fair.

8.4 Instant rewards must be redeemed within the validity period stated on the voucher. Unredeemed vouchers expire without compensation.

8.5 Non-transferable / no cash: Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative, except that PMSA may, at its discretion, substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.

8.6 Costs: PMSA covers the cost of the prize and applicable VAT. Any personal costs incurred to accept or use the prize (e.g. travel to collect, data/airtime, SIM/network activation) are for the winner’s account.

9. Personal Information (POPIA)

9.1 By entering, the Participant consents to PMSA processing their personal information (name, contact details, ID/age verification data, till slip data and entry metadata) for the purposes of administering the Promotion, verifying eligibility, awarding prizes, complying with legal obligations and internal audit.

9.2 Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the PMI Consumer Privacy Notice available at https://www.pmiprivacy.com/global/en/consumer/. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary, and in any event for the three (3) year record-keeping period referred to in clause 6.4.

9.3 Winners may be requested — optionally — to sign a separate publicity consent for use of their name and image/likeness on PMSA-owned channels. Refusal will not affect the right to receive the prize.

10. General

10.1 PMSA is not liable for:

·       (a) any technical failure, network outage, delayed SMS/email or till-slip system error that prevents an entry being submitted or received;

·       (b) any loss, damage or injury (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising from participation or from acceptance/use of a prize, save to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded under the CPA or other applicable law.

10.2 PMSA may disqualify any Participant who acts unlawfully, fraudulently, dishonestly, or in breach of these Terms, or who tampers with the entry mechanism.

10.3 Prizes are subject to the applicable manufacturers or supplier’s warranty terms and conditions, if any. PMSA does not give any warranty or representation in relation to any prize, except as expressly set out in these Terms or to the extent required by applicable law. PMSA is not responsible for any warranty or representation made by any third party (including voucher issuers or Apple in respect of the iPhone) other than as expressly set out in these Terms.

10.4 Disputes: Any dispute will first be dealt with by PMSA in good faith. If unresolved, a Participant retains the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission. This clause does not exclude any rights the Participant has under the CPA.

10.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
